Family owned and operated since 1997, Junee Prime Lamb has quickly grown to become one of the leading producers of premium quality Australian lamb.
From humble beginnings processing lamb, beef and pork for local customers, we now specialise exclusively in prime Australian lamb and supply to many parts of the world.
From our 2,500ha farm property in the beautiful Riverina district of NSW to our modern processing facility in Junee,
our ‘farm direct’ approach means you know exactly where your lamb is coming from and can rely on consistently high quality products all year round.
We’ve never deviated from our core values of caring for animals, adopting industry best practices, looking after our people and the wider environment, and we never will.

Processing Facilities

Junee Prime Lamb owns and operates modern lamb processing facilities on the outskirts of Junee in the renowned Riverina district of NSW.
Occupying 182,000m2 and employing nearly 300 highly trained and dedicated staff, we have the capability to process more than 4,000 sheep per day, with a 50% increase in capacity planned from 2019 onwards.
Boasting a highly efficient, state-of-the-art production line where staff work in conjunction with the latest technology, our lamb processing facilities comprise modern holding yards, slaughter room, boning room, inspection area, packaging floor, freezers, and load out area.
What’s more, we maintain strict hygiene standards throughout our facilities and regularly review our processes to ensure we meet the highest quality standards for the industry.

Australian Meat Industry Council (AMIC)
Junee Prime Lamb is AUS-MEAT certified and as such, is committed to the humane treatment of livestock.
AMIC affirms that livestock processing in Australia is conducted in accordance with national laws and international requirements, and enforced by State, Territory and Commonwealth inspectors to ensure that high standards of animal welfare are maintained at all times.
Sustainable Practices
We implement sustainable practices throughout the company to ensure we minimise our environmental footprint and protect the local area. We do this through the adoption of new technologies where possible, as well as sustainable farming practices.
